(Boyes) – The Montana High Patrol reports that one person was killed, in a one vehicle accident near Boyes in Powder River County on March 7th.
A Freightliner Truck with utility trailer, was westbound on US-212 East. The Freightliner drifted off the roadway to the right side, struck a guardrail end and then re-entered the roadway. The vehicle drifted off the roadway a second time, hitting the other end of the guardrail. the Freightliner continued partially of the shoulder on the right side, striking two delineator posts before coming to a stop. The driver collapsed while going to the trooper’s vehicle, medical aid was rendered and the driver succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased male has not been released.
