(Havre) – The Montana State University – Northern Alumni Foundation announced on Monday that three individuals have been selected to recieve 2026 Founders Excellence awards.
William “BIll’ Lanier, Kyle Leeds, and Terry “T-Bone” Mohn are all being honored. Lanier is serving as a Hill County Commissioner, Leeds works for New Media Broadcasters in Havre, and Mohn is being honored posthumously.
In a foundation press release, they said Founders Excellence is an award to deserving individuals in honor of their professional accomplishments, loyalty, and service that have enhanced the development of MSU-Northern.
The award has been given since 1978, and this year’s honorees will be presented their awards at a dinner on Friday May 1st, at the student union building on the MSU-Northern Campus. For more information about the event or to join in the celebration you can call 1-406-265-3711.
