Superintendent Gum Updates Board on Variety of Topics

(Havre) – At the last Havre Public School’s Board of Trustees Meeting, Superintendent Brian Gum updated the board on a variety of topics.

Gum said that enrollment in Havre Public Schools is up 12 students from the same time as in 2025. He told the board that the Bridged Health Alliance has been approved by the State of Montana to offer healthcare insurance products to districts across the state. The Board of Trustees voted in the Fall of 2025 for Havre Public Schools elementary and high school districts to join the Bridged Health Alliance. Superintendent Gum then provided information to board about the Montana Aligned Standards Through Year (MAST0 testing program. Finally the Superintendent informed the board about the upcoming negotiations with the districts Teamsters Union employees.

The next meeting of the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees will take place on April 14th, 6:30pm at Havre Middle School.
