(Havre) – Hill County Superintendent of Schools Vicki Proctors says two first-grade Gildford Colony Elementary students participated in the 65th Keep Montana Green Art Contests sponsored by
the Department of Natural Resources and Conservaton. At the regional level these students have earned an honorable mention which gives them the ability to take part at the upcoming state
competition. Jordan Stahl, and Grace Stahl, have received this nod . Teacher Jeffrey Nicolas who coached them through this activity was very pleased at their awards sharing that all regional
winners have an equal opportunity to advance to the next level of competition. The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation received 423 entries from 17 schools across a 13-county
area. This year’s theme was: How and Windy: Fires Move Quickly.
