(Denver) – The Saturday April 25th, is the United States Drug Enforcement Agencies spring prescription drug take back day. George Taylor, Diversion Program Manager for the Rocky Mountain Field Division of the DEA explains why they partner with other Federal, State, Local, and Tribal enforcement agencies to host these take back events.
“It allows for communities and individuals within those communities to turn in their unwanted, unneeded and expired prescription medication anonymously.”
The DEA also has an everyday take back program for prescription drugs that is hosted at many medical facilities and pharmacies in the New Media Broadcasters listening area.
