(Havre) – This week the City of Havre started a water project on 14th Avenue. Later this year the Montana Department of Transportation will also be working on 14 Avenue. Public Works director for the City of Havre Trevor Mork, explains what both parties will be doing and why they are collaborating on this project.
“Before MDT comes in and does the surface treatment project there on 14th avenue between 1st street and 7th street, the City of Havre will be going in and doing some improvement projects there on the water system. In that project, we’re just trying to get ahead of MDT before they do their maintenance on there, that way we’re working collaboratively and doing so in an orderly fashion.”
