Havre, MT – Heading into the weekend Havre had defeated Glasgow in a home double header but Sunday afternoon in Helena was a different story for the North.
Havre struggled at the plate in game one and were unable to get anything going offensively. The Blue Ponies combined for three hits and 13 strikes in the 4-0 loss.
In the second game Havre showed resiliency holding 5-2 run lead before giving up six runs in the 6th inning and dropping the match 9-8.
Havre saw four different pitches play in the loss boloman that got the lone strike out for the Northstars.
Next up the Northstars start conference play at Medicine Hat to open conference play.
