Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern and Skylights basketball coach Chris Mouat has announced the signing of transfer guard Kendall McClure.
Standing at 5’8″, Kendall was an All-State honorable mention at Los Medanos College in Pittsburgh, California. She earned herself a spot as a Bay Valley First-Team All-conference selection by scoring 15 points per game while collecting 5.2 rebounds and dishing out 4 and half assists per game this past season.
Coach Mouat said McClure skillset will be a strong addition to the program. “She hit 63 threes this year. Shot it at a decent percentage. Had high number scoring. We have a good relationship with Los Medanos where she was playing, and we brought her in and she really liked here and wanted be here and it’s a really good fit for her.”
While McClure was shooting the fifth best three-point percentage in the Bay Valley Conference she was also maintaining a 3.6 GPA in the classroom. She graduated from Los Medanos with an associate’s degree emphasized on journalism and will plan on majoring in education while at Northern.
