(NMB) According to the Chouteau County Search and Rescue Facebook page emergency crews were called to respond to a farm accident in the Virgelle Ferry
area approximately 6pm Monday evening. An individual had his foot trapped in an auger. The responders had to cut away part of the auger to free the individuals
foot. There was no information about the person’s condition. Responding agencies were Fort Benton Ambulance, Big Sandy Fire, Loma Fire, Chouteau County
Sheriff’s Office and Mercy Flight.
