With the start of the new school year approaching, Havre Public Works Director Trevor Mork updates us on street sweeping and other street preparations.
“Yes, we will be in the areas between 10th and 17th streets, between 5th avenue and 12th avenue through Wednesday for the residential area and they will be back downtown for Thursday and Friday the 13th and 14th of August. With those scheduled sweepings we try to get out there as much as possible to get those crosswalks repainted before school starts as well as some asphalt repairs. Whether it’s tackling those potholes, getting those cracks filled, or any other street repair we can get in there.”
