Havre high football has started the year 0-3 after falling on the road to Miles City this past Thursday, 24-14. Blue Pony football, head coach Jake Eldridge spoke to the NMB Sports about his teams play.
“It wasn’t up to our expectations for what we want, but there was great effort out there. Too many turnovers again and a lot of assignment mistakes. Having said that kids battled and we had our opportunities there towards the end of the game and unfortunately it just didn’t go our way.
Eldridge continued to state that the mistakes start with the coach staff and improving as a team starts with them as well. Havre football is on bye this week but will head to Browning for a conference game on Friday the 25 at 7p.m.
