HARLEM, Mont. (NMB) – The City of Harlem will be hosting their annual 4th of July Celebration,
starting with the parade down Main Street at 4 PM. President of the Harlem Civic Association Rod Becker says that anybody who wants to be part of the parade is welcome. Afterwards, they will host a picnic in the City Park.
“It starts at 5pm. It’s a potluck picnic in the park. Our Civic Group will do hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. The public will salads and desserts. And, it’s a good time.”
Becker says the event, including vendor tables, is completely free.
“There’ll be some vendors up and down Main Street earlier in the day, or throughout the day. There’s usually some people selling some raffle tickets and things like that, whatever they want to do, but it’s sure open to anybody who wants to come and set up a booth…anybody that wants to come and set up a booth.”
Becker says they will also be accepting donations of non-perishable food items that will be sent to the Harlem Food Bank
