HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Montana Senator Steve Daines stopped by Havre’s 4th of July Festival on Thursday at Pepin Park to visit with the community.
“We started out the day in Great Falls, had a big turn out for the 4th of July Parade there. Then we’re going to head to the Blaine County Fair this afternoon and touched base with those folks. But, this is just the spirit of Montana, the patriotism. It’s a day off for many. For some, they’re working today, but for many it is a day off and it’s just nice to celebrate a great day for our country.”
After speaking with folks in Havre, he went to Chinook and took in the sights at the Blaine County Fair.
