Chippewa Cree Construction Receives $800,000 Grant for Water Upgrades

ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – The Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced that they have awarded the Chippewa Cree Construction Corporation $800,000 under the Indian Community Development Block Grant Program.

A press release says this public facilities and infrastructure project was planned and designed as a means to improve the quality of the drinking water on the Rocky Boy’s Reservation. Potable water will be provided to residents in the Parker Canyon area through the development of 25,000 linear feet of pipe.
