Malta) – The Region 6 headquarters of Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks reported on Friday that the Alkali Creek Fishing Access Site along the Milk River southwest of Malta is again open to the public. The site was closed last week due to flooding out of the Milk River.
The public is asked to use extreme caution when accessing FWP sites such as fishing access sites, wildlife management areas, state parks, and any other areas near rivers or streams. Flood water elevations change rapidly, and some sites may become partially of fully submerged by flood waters within minutes or hours.
