(Ft. Belknap) According to a release put out by the Fort Belknap American Legion on Thursday, the Legion Post 110 in that area is in danger of shutting their doors and are asking for community support.
Legionaries say that closing of those doors will result the loss of ceremonial rifles used for honor guards at military funerals, as well as several local programs for veterans, youth, and the community.
On May 16th, from 9am to 2pm, the Legion Post 110 will hold their special outreach event at the Little River Learning Center in Fort Belknap.
In addition, the group says they’ll be serving a free lunch from 11am to 1pm that day for all attendees. Post 110 says your visit matters, even if you don’t plan to join.
