HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Army National Guard is giving eligible Montanan’s between the ages of 16 to 32 an opportunity to experience what being a soldier is all about during an August recruiting event at Fort Harrison. A press release says that the free event will be August 2nd through the 4th.
Coined, “Be a Guardsman”, the Montana Army National Guard Training Center will host the event for anyone who is interested in becoming a citizen soldier and allow attendees the opportunity to train like a soldier for a weekend. National Guard membership brings educational benefits, healthcare eligibility, supplemental income, retirement benefits, and it provide valuable leadership training and skills that directly help a guardsman’s civilian career.
