Bear Paw Development Hires New Director of Community Development

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Bear Paw Development Corporation has announced the selection of Chris Klobofski of Havre to serve as their Director of Community Development.

This position is responsible for managing the Economic Development District’s portfolio of local government infrastructure projects that include drinking water systems, wastewater systems, bridges and other physical enhancements to communities in north-central Montana.

Klobofski is a Havre native and MSU-Northern graduate in Business Technology and is a small business owner, a former Lead Carman for BNSF Railway, and serves on the board of directors for Havre Youth Hockey.

Bear Paw Development’s Community Development Department manages a multi-million dollar infrastructure portfolio for area local governments through grant writing and project management, and maintains a close relationship with state and federal funding agencies.

Bear Paw serves the economic development needs of Liberty, Hill, Blaine, Phillips, and Chouteau Counties, as well as the Rocky Boy’s and Fort Belknap Reservations.
