Bear Paw Development Wants Citizen Input on Draft CEDS Document

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Bear Paw Development Corporation (BPDC) is seeking input from area residents regarding the draft 2020 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).

The 5-year planning document outlines economic and community development activities.

Residents in the Liberty, Hill, Blaine, Phillips and Chouteau Counties and on the Rocky Boy and Fort Belknap Reservations are encouraged to submit comments and feedback.

The CEDS includes data and background information for the region, explains the process for creating the CEDS, and outlines the action plan for development activities as identified by residents and Bear Paw’s Strategy Committee.

The Strategy Committee is comprised of 20 individuals with experience from all sectors of industry.

Community members can view a copy of the draft CEDS at www.bearpaw.org and can submit comments on the site. Print copies are also available upon request. The public comment period closes on Friday, December 4th.
