(BIllings) – Registration for Montana’s 40th annual Big Sky State games is now accepting entries. Most sports take place in Billing July 18th in Billings, You can register online at Big Sky Games dot org.
This Olympic Style multi-sport festival is for participants of all ages and skill levels, drawing at least 10,00 competitors each year. Elite, junior, senior, and recreational athletes compete for medals in 39 sports. Two new sports have been added to this year’s Big Sky State Games. They are High School Girls seven on seven flag football, and rugby.
While most events will take place in the Billings area July 18th through 20th some will take place at other locations across the state. Those sports include the Muzzle Loading Shooting competition which will take place on Saturday July 12th. The opening ceremony for the Big Sky State Games will be in a new location in 2025. On Friday July 18th, they will take place at the Lockwood High School Stadium.
