(Great Falls) – A Billings man accused of harassing and threatening witnesses in Browning, on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, in an ongoing federal investigation admitted to obstruction charges on September 18th.
Jesse Ray Blackman pleaded guilty to two counts of obstructing justice by retaliating against a witness as charged in a superseding indictment and now faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
The court set sentencing for January 31st, 2024. Blackman was detained pending further proceedings. Chief United States District Judge Brian M. Morris presided over the case.
