Billings Man Pleads Guilty to Using Phone to Arrange Commercial Sex with Minor

BILLINGS, Mont. — A Billings man has pleaded guilty to using a cell phone to facilitate a commercial sex act involving a minor.

52-year-old Usman Hanif Khan admitted to one count of using a facility of interstate commerce to aid in racketeering.

He faces up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.

According to court documents, Khan arranged a commercial sex date through text messages and met with a minor on April 9th, 2023.

The FBI investigated the case, which is part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood initiative.
