BILLINGS, Mont. (NMB) – The Billings Police Department says a homicide investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was killed in an apparent shooting early Sunday morning.
A press release says officers were dispatched at 2:09 AM to a parking lot on the 400 block of Constitution Avenue, but when they arrived, all they found was empty shell casings for a firearm.
A few minutes later, a local hospital called to report a victim was dropped off at the ER with a gunshot wound. The victim, who has been identified as Khoen R. Parker of Billings, later died.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
Initial information indicates the incident involved a disturbance between multiple parties.
