Havre, Mt – Havre High Blue Ponies girls’ basketball has sprinted out to an undefeated start through six games earning a much-needed break.
Havre high girls basketball coach Tommy Brown knows his team needs the rest to recover before their first home game on January 2.
“Recovery, I mean we have a lot of kids banged up right now. So, we’re just taking some time off, getting kids healthy again. Then we’ll start again next week and get ready to play Browning and Malta.”
Coach Brown has already had two players sit out to injury in the early season with Katie Tilleman and Ariana Gary both missing the BigFork game last week.
The Blue Ponies will Tip off with Browning at home Friday January 2 at 6p.m. and will follow it up with a rematch against Malta in Havre on Saturday January 3.
