Havre, MT – Friday in Butte Havre High softball went 0-2 and saw their Saturday games canceled due to snow and rain. With those losses the Blue Ponies end their regular season 7-10-1 overall.
Havre high head coach Tony Vigliotti told new media broadcaster what he liked about the weekend.
“I thought we played well on Friday. We played Laurel and Polson, both teams are going to be at next week’s state tournament. In the Laurel game I thought our pitching was good. Friday evening it took us till about the third inning to start swinging the bats and we had a chance to win there late. So not displeased with how we played there in Butte.” Coach Vigliotti Stated.
The Blue Ponies await the winner of East Helena and Hardin for a state playoff game in Havre this Friday.
