The Havre Blue Ponies shook the Blue Ponies Corral Friday and Saturday with hard hitting, double dates of double-header games on the hardwood; first night against the Glendive Red Devils and the Sidney Eagles the next day.
Friday night the Blue Ponies girl’s team started their game with fierce energy out the starting gate and never let up on the energy. Havre stayed on top and the girls finished their game with a hash mark in the win column against Glendive, 54-21. In the boy’s match the Blue Ponies rallied hard and hit hard in the corral to the final whistle with the Havre boys coming up short to the Red Devils, 60-47.
On Saturday, the boys and girls squad ruled the day against the Sidney Eagles with the boy’s team fighting for a very close win in the first appearance on Saturday with a score of Havre 47, Sidney 39. The Blue Pony girls were ferocious against the Sidney team, leaving them in the dust early in the game with a final score, Blue Ponies 69-, Eagles 26.
Tuesday December 21st the Blue ponies host the Fergus Golden Eagle on the court, tip off at 6pm.
