GLACIER NATIONAL PARK (NMB) – The body of a hiker who had been missing in Glacier National Park since September 1st was recovered on Sunday afternoon in a steep and rocky area near the continental divide.
The search for 34-year-old Jennifer Coleman of Richmond, Virginia began after her vehicle was found by park officials in the Logan Pass Parking Lot.
As many as 50 personnel joined in the search, and the cause of Coleman’s death is under investigation.
Park officials would like to thank the public for providing tips that led to a faster resolution to the search.
