(Helena) A federal judge on December 4th convicted a Boulder felon accused of illegally possessing a firearm he had tried to hide and while he was on state supervision, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
After a one-day bench trial on November 25th, Chief U.S. Judge Brian M. Morris announced the verdict on found 59-year-old Paul Anthony LaFournaise guilty of prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
LaFournaise faces a maximum of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
