Butte, MT – Lights close out Taylor University three sets to one to bounce back after dropping two straight on Friday.
Montana State University-Northern Skylights volleyball fell twice on Thursday to top25 teams but bounced back with a three sets to one victory over Taylor. Northern took sets one and two 25-22, and 25-20. The Skylights then dropped the third set 25-17 before closing it out 25-19 in set number four.
Despite Taylor out performing Northern in four out of six major statistical categories, the Skylights had seven aces, 54 kills and 51 assists. Mace Selman had yet another terrific performance with 25 assists. Macy Uffelman led Northern with 12 kills.
Skylights Volleyball will cap off the non-conference schedule Saturday at 1p.m. in Butte against Ottawa University Arizona.
