(Havre) – Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks Bowhunter Education class dates have been set for Havre with the in person classes taking place at the Hill County Electric Hospitality Room. The classes are free.
The course dates for the class are Monday April 24th, Wednesday April 26th, Friday April 28th, and Saturday April 29th.
All first time bowhunters in Montana must complete a Bowhunter Education Course or show proof of a prior year’s archery license from another state or province to be fully certified to hunt during an archery only season. Students must be at least 11 years of age to take a bowhunter education course.
Students can register online at the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks website and they need to pick up a course manual from the FWP office in Havre at 2165 US Highway Two East and read and completes the manual quizzes prior to the first day of class.
