(Bozeman) A man is facing an attempted homicide charge following a stabbing in Bozeman early Monday morning. Police say officers responded to a local
medical center around 3:30 a.m. after a man arrived with stab wounds. Investigators determined the victim had allegedly been stabbed by his roommate at a home
in the 5000 block of Saxon Way. According to court documents, the man stabbed told police that he was charged at by a roommate wielding a kitchen
knife after asking why the roommate was cooking food at the early hour of 2:00 a.m. The victim is expected to survive and continues to receive medical treatment.
Authorities say the suspect barricaded himself inside the residence, prompting a response from the Gallatin County SWAT team. After several hours, the suspect
was taken into custody without incident at approximately 8:50 a.m. Monday Morning and booked into the Gallatin County Detention Center on a felony charge of
attempted homicide.
