Havre, MT – The Havre High Blue Pony girls basketball team is off to a 6-0 start to the season as they hit the holiday break.
One of the team’s senior leaders, Ariana Gary, received high praise from head coach Tommy brown on what her size and skillset bring to the team.
“Ariana is so versatile for us. She plays dang near every position. She guards inside and out, she scores inside and out. So, it’s just another weapon on both sides of the ball that we loose if she’s not on the floor.” Coach Brown said.
Gary had foul trouble against Malta and sat due to injury in the blue ponies last game against Bigfork.
In four out of 5 games Gary has played for the blue ponies she has put averaged 11.5 points per game.
