(NMB) The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has awarded nearly $180,000 in grants to 14 Montana community projects in 2026.
Among those awards is a $15,000 awarded to Bear Paw Development of Havre. State AARP director Tim Summers told New Media Broadcasters about the proposed project.
“This project is about providing community art and public art installations in downtown Havre. The budget is more than just the art. It’s about creating an inviting public space that celebrates Havre’s history, brings people together and makes downtown a place where residents of all ages want to spend time.”
