(GREAT FALLS) – A Browning man accused of killing an individual and possessing an unlawful firearm appeared on August 19th for arraignment, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.
The defendant, Treyson Lee Sharp, pleaded not guilty to an indictment charging him with one count of involuntary manslaughter and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm. The maximum penalties for involuntary manslaughter are 8 years of imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. The penalties for possession of an unlawful firearm are 10 years of imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, and three years of supervised release. Sharp was released pending further proceedings.
