(Browning) A Browning man who admitted to driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he crashed into another vehicle killing the driver was sentenced Tuesday to 16 months in prison to be followed by 3 years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme said.
The defendant, 22-year-old Philip Ray Azure, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon related to two separate incidents. Azure faces a term of imprisonment of ten years, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided.
