Browning Teenager Killed in Crash

BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 17-year-old girl from Browning was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Glacier County on Friday morning.

The incident occurred at 5:40 AM on 3 C Bar Road, when the teenager was driving a Kia Sportage northbound. She failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadside to the right, impacted a bridge guardrail, and tipped over onto its right side.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and pronounced deceased on scene.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

Alcohol and drugs are both suspected factors in the crash.

The road was bare and dry.
