HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Outgoing Governor Steve Bullock has announced some of his final appointments to statewide boards, councils and committees, with several of those named residing on the Hi-Line.
Megan Hedges of Chester was named to the Montana Agriculture Development Council. Hedges is the Owner of Northern Plains Insurance and the Financial Manager of Hedges Construction, LLC.
Michael Blackwolf of Harlem and Alvin Windy Boy of Box Elder were named to the Burial Preservation Board. Blackwolf is a Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for Fort Belknap, while Windy Boy is the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Chippewa Cree Tribe.
Richard Sangrey of Box Elder and Ray King of Harlem were announced as members of the to the State-Tribal Economic Development Commission. Sangrey is being reappointed, while King will be serving his first term on the Commission. Sangrey is the Chief of Staff for the Chippewa Cree Tribe, while King is the Executive Director of the Nakoda-Aaniiih Credit Agency.
The final local appointment named was of Liberty County Commissioner Maureen Wicks, who will serve on the State Workforce Innovation Board.
