MSU Extension Healthy Aging is presenting a Caregiver Respite Retreat on Thursday, April 20th.
Kati Purkett of MSU Extension provides the details for the respite retreat.
“The Caregiver Respite Retreat is happening on April 20th. It is at the Great Northern Hotel directly across from the Duck inn and it is from 10am until 3pm. It is a free event, however, we do ask that you register by calling the office and you can do that by calling 406-400-2333. We would really love it if people could register no later than Tuesday the 18th of April. Just give us a call at the Hill County Extension Office. If it’s easier for you, you can stop in at the office.”-Purkett
She goes on to talk about who’s welcome to attend the workshop.
“They do open it up to anyone that has the potential to be offering caregiving to a loved one. They also do let LPN’s and CNA’s and people that are professional caregivers come to the Respite Retreat as well. So, we really encourage anybody that is giving or going to be giving in home care or professional care to a loved one or to another person to attend this workshop.“-Purkett
