Carroll College Appoints Interim Co-Presidents After Incoming President Steps Down

HELENA, Mont. — Carroll College announced Wednesday that Dr. William Ruud will no longer assume the role of college president as planned, citing personal matters requiring his full attention.

In response, the Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. Jennifer Glowienka and Bishop Austin Vetter as interim co-presidents for the 2025-26 academic year.

The Board expressed full confidence in their leadership, emphasizing a continued focus on academic excellence, financial sustainability, and long-term accreditation goals.

The college plans to provide further updates on permanent leadership in the coming months.
