Cascade Public Schools sees temporary route cancellations

(Cascade County) Cascade Public Schools saw a number of its school bus routes canceled recently due to shortages of bus drivers.

These were temporary cancellations due to drivers being out sick, meaning that the school district is currently only just barely able to meet its school bus driver needs when all of them are healthy.

The district runs 8 routes to transport its students to school.

Cascade County has also stated that they’re actively hiring new bus drivers to prevent shortages in the future.
