HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Due to a reduction in traffic along Montana’s border with Canada, as well as the 30-day extension of the ban on non-essential crossings, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has announced that six Montana ports will continue operating with reduced hours.
The affected ports of entry are Raymond, Opheim, Morgan, Turner, Del Bonita and Piegan.
The Ports of Opheim, Turner, Morgan and Del Bonita will be open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Ports of Raymond and Piegan will remain open seven days a week, but with reduced hours. The Port of Raymond will be open from 6 AM to 10 PM, while the Port of Piegan will be open from 8 AM to 6 PM.
These hours will remain in effect until May 20th, or until the current travel restrictions are lifted.
The limited hours were scheduled to expire on April 30th before the non-essential travel ban was extended.
