The Chinook Sugarbeeters began their bid for the Class C State crown with a 3-1 win over the Circle Wildcats
Rilee Molyneaux led the way in aces with 5, while Hallie Neibauer had 14 kills and 12 blocks. Mya Berreth led in assists with 20, and Torin Cecrle had 19 digs.
The victory moved the Beeters on to face the Bridger Scouts. The teams went 5 sets, with Bridger coming out on top 18-25, 29-31, 25-20, 25-18, 15-10
Rilee Molyneaux once again took the lead in aces with 3, and Hallie Neibauer continued to head up kills with 19. Mya Barreth topped the assist column with 30, Niebauer put up another 11 blocks to lead the category, and Bree Swanson totaled 29 digs.
The loss puts Chinook in elimination play Friday at 4pm
