Chinook Football Looking to Stay Unbeaten

(NMB) The Chinook Sugarbeeter football team remains unbeaten through six games this year. Their latest victory was a 42 to 26 win in Lincoln over Mullen/St. Regis. Head coach Mike Jones likes the way his team is playing, and he and his coaching staff are looking to continue their good fundamental play but add some new things in. “We as a coaching staff got together and were talking about just going back to some fundamentals and making sure we can execute what we want to do and throw some wrinkles in there. So, if we execute our stuff fundamentally, we can add wrinkles in and hopefully just keep truckin’.”

Most of Chinook’s damage has been done on the ground this year. In the victory last week, they rushed the ball 47 times for 352 yards. The Beeters will look to keep their winning streak alive when they travel to Rocky Boy for a game on Thursday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
