The Chinook Sugarbeeters girls’ basketball team will get their State Basketball tournament started with a match-up versus Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale. Head coach of the Beeters Mike Jones says the key for his team to be successful is defense. “We just got to play good defense; we have to box out. They have some good length, and they can get after it defensively as well. So, we just have to play our game. We can’t worry about the whole atmosphere and stuff. We’ve just got to go out and play and get after it. Box out is going to be huge because they like to get on the boards, they like to attack the rim after a shot is up and so we have to limit those chances for them.”-Jones
