It was sweeps across the board in the opening round of the District 1B Volleyball tournament in Choteau on Thursday.
Fairfield received a bye to start the tournament, and will see their first action Friday morning at 10a vs Shelby, who took a 3-0 opening round over Conrad.
Chinook went 3-0 to topple Cut Bank in first round action, and Choteau advanced 3-0 against Rocky Boy to finish first round play. Chinook and Choteau will square off at 11:30a Friday.
That will be followed by Cut Bank and Rocky Boy vying to stay in the tournament, with a 1p match start. The winner will continue to face the loser of the Fairfield/Shelby pairing at 5:30, following a 4p match between Conrad and the fallen between Chinook and Choteau.
Friday’s play will wrap up with the winner of Fairfield/Shelby meeting the winner of Chinook/Choteau at 7p.
