Chinook Picks New Superintendent

CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The Chinook School Board has unanimously selected Fred Hofman to serve as their new Superintendent, effective July 1st.

Hofman was recommended by the Board at a Special Meeting on February 22nd. The hire was officially approved at a March 9th meeting. He will be replacing current Superintendent Darin Hannum.

Hofman has served as Superintendent and Principal of the Harrison School District since 2012.

Hofman has previously served as the Roosevelt County Attorney, the Deputy City Attorney for Billings, and as High School Principal for Absarokee and Poplar.
