CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The City of Chinook Police Department will be hosting a barbeque fundraiser for their department on Tuesday, May 7th.
A press release says that the pulled pork sandwiches will be free, but they will also be accepting free will donations. Local officers will be on hand to meet and talk with people. Retired Alabama Game Warden Mike Cox will be cooking.
The barbeque will start at noon on Tuesday and run until 4 PM at the Chinook Water Plant.
Proceeds of the event will help with the purchase of new uniforms, including bullet proof vests.
