(Chinook) Since last August, construction crews have been building the new city pool at Sweet Memorial Park in Chinook. According to Friends of the Pool and Park President Heather DePriest (Da-Priest) a new feature has been added.
“We’ve got a new feature this construction project. Essentially that is called a zero-depth entry which is kind of like a beach effect and that got poured in the fall.”
Tentatively, the new Chinook pool is scheduled to open for the season on Monday June 15th.
