(Chinook) Sewer lines are being replaced in Chinook causing some road closures.
Officials say that the sewer lines were deteriorating, and that the areas that were in most need were selected to be worked on first.
The total cost of these improvements will be just over nine million dollars, but much of that is covered by government grant funding. There is no suspected change in sewer rates as a result of this project due to recent increases already helping cover the cost.
