The Montana State University (MSU) Science Math Resource Center is teaming up with the MSU LIbrary to offer the opportunity to become citizen scientists.
Four citizen science kits are now available for free to anyone who uses the MSU Library. The kits are set up with essentials to gather data for specific projects. The kits have been field tested by librarians and patrons, and are linked to national projects. Projects focus on light pollution, pollinators, biodiversity, and Water.
Anyone can become a citizen scientist, no matter their age, education or profession. Citizen scientists help researchers by recording observations, collecting data, and noting changes in nature.
The kits were provided in observance of Citizen Science Month for April. Questions may be directed to the MSU Science Math Resource Center by email, smrc at montana dot edu.
